If you take all the US military deaths from both Iraq and Afghanistan, and have them take place on an island not 5 miles at its widest point…and do it in a few weeks time…THAT was Iwo Jima.

Are these homework questions?
4,2,4
There’s a problem with the first question. None of the answers are quite right. Answers 1 and 2 can be dismissed but 3 is problematical. USAAC bombers weren’t based on Iwo Jima. B29’s mainly used Iwo as an emergency landing field. There were some fighter planes based on Iwo to escort bombers to Japan but they didn’t do the bombing. 4 is not quite right either.
