You gotta be careful with 100% oxygen cause that can cause infections and bacteria to grow at exponential rates. Not to mention the obvious fire hazard.

100% O2 is dangerous? People are doing it all the time. The benefits: During hyperbaric oxygen treatment sessions or “dives,” supersaturation of oxygen increases blood etc

Little leaky? Absolutely not! The chambers are leak proof. Many multiplace chambers go all the way to 6 ATA. If they’re leaky at that pressure, so long!

I highly doubt you can make one, unless you have a degree in mechanical and architectural, and ociates in electrical.

Is the mask oxygen they breathe PURE 100% oxygen? I thought that was dangerous.

$20K to $50K sounds shocking. Seems like I could build one for under $1K in parts and free labor, and the fact that it is SUPPOSED to be a little leaky only makes the concept easier to build. I’ve watched several video clips describing them, and there doesn’t seem to be anything overly technical about it.

    1. It gets filled with pressurized air and the patients breathes oxygen with masks.

    2. We bought a chamber from Reimers Systems, Inc. I believe they sell both monoplace and multiplace chambers.

Refurbished monoplace chambers cost approx $20-30K

    New are worth 50K+
