Is it possible to exercise in a hyperbaric chamber?
I’ve heard that spending time in a hyperbaric chamber can make you feel like running around the world, but I would like to know if you can actually do physical exercise in a hyperbaric chamber without getting oxygen toxicity or experiencing other harmful effects.
Most are pretty small for running, but if you could find a spacious chamber with willing staff, sure! However, compression and decompression can pretty lengthy processes, so don’t plan on a few miles on the treadmill/bike/rower before school/work.
And as for feeling like running around the world, looks like the research evidence says no. Sorry.
