Is the US Chamber of Commerce on the Obama enemy list?
The uneasy relationship between the Obama White House and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has steadily eroded over the past several months, with the business group’s opposition to health care and climate change legislation triggering an all-fronts backlash from the administration.
The administration is now trying to neutralize the Chamber by doing an end-run around the group and dealing directly with its members.

I wouldn’t be surprised now that the White House has come out publicly against Fox and the the communications director thinks Mao can even be compared to Mother Teresa. (Gosh, he has some of the most bizarre people working for him!)

There is no enemies list. But think about the behavior that the USCC has supported.
At one time in this country, there was a concept of fairness in business. Now, it’s as predatory as possible. Banks, credit cards, mortgage companies all try to get every nickel they can from people who are least able to protect themselves. It’s as though all of American Business was trained by a used car salesman. It’s unrestrained greed and it’s as ugly as sin.
I suspect President Obama hates that. I know I do.

The Chamber of Commerce is not "small business people"….
The business group is a powerful influence for special interest corporations, NOT the interests of the American public.

The last President to have an enemies list was Nixon.
The Chamber does not represent sucessful companies like Nike and Apple.
It’s amazing how conservatives condemn unions but support Chambers of Commerce, which are essentially a union for bussiness people.

Could be! They are strongly against the global warming tax!
Did you hear about the hoax yesterday where there was a fake news conference that was indicating that the US chamber of commerce had change their position? Total fake – they have not changed their position and they are correct that the GW tax would be a disaster for communities.

So you don’t think this has anything to do with the Exodus of major corporations like Apple out of the chamber. These giant corporations realize that these things need to be addressed, and are choosing to part ways with the chamber over them, The chamber on the other hand is just trying to keep the same-old-same.

I don’t have access to President Obama’s enemy list, if he has one, but imho if he’s as intelligent as he appears to be the answer to your question would be, yes.
Continuing to put corporate profits ahead of global, environmental concerns can only make living on Earth ever more miserable for every creature that exists here including, eventually, the richest humans.
Allowing the fate of the planet to be decided and dictated by it’s greediest and most ruthless humans was always a bad idea. Never more so than now.

I guess BO will start firing people at the US Chamber of Commerce for not drinking his koolaid.
wyldfyr,
Companies like Nike don’t manufacturer anything in the states. The CEO said that the American people "don’t want to made shoes". That is a quote!
